He looked great as a one year wonder. I liked the pick and see him as a solid rt prospect with the ability to swing to LT if needed.

Thrown into the fire day one of camp was not what I expected. I was hoping for a year of grooming

I have not given up with the idea of Peat at LT and Ramczyk getting a shot at LG vs Orlando Franklin

Whatever gets our best guys on the field. I hope it is ram. This would be really huge for these guys. Nothing beats a really good oline. Opens up the entire playbook. And wouldn't be surprised if peat made probowl. Guy really started to get nasty last year

In our (Saints) pass protection scheme, it's the inside three that are most important...

Drew gets rid of the ball so quickly that edge rushers rarely have a chance to disrupt passing...

Where the OTs are really important is where they're used in the screen game like picks in basketball...

And if Ramczyk is as good as Peat at LT or even better, it will give us options moving forward...

I think Drew Brees would disagree with you...

Top leaders in sacks agasint Brees is

5.5 Ahmad Brooks, 49ers

5 DeMarcus Ware, Cowboys

4.5 Charles Johnson, Panthers

4 Greg Hardy, Panthers; John Abraham, Falcons; Julius Peppers, Panthers and Packers; Chris Long, Rams.

All outside guys.

Well, those first two are guys that Strief will eventually have to conquer...

And considering we play the Panthers twice a season, I'd expect them to be at the top of the list...

Early feedback looks eerily similar as Willie Roaf's early feedback. It's entirely possible Terron Armstead may have lost his starting spot on the left side.
