this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Little concerned about the dinks and dings with these kids, would like to see them toughen up a whole lot more......

Perhaps Payton is using new approach. Instead of having players work through some of these minor issues he is letting them heal before putting them back out there ... at least during the preseason. A player could probably practice on a "tweaked" knee, but it could cause more issues.
