Winning begets winning! Winning is a habit! A winning team is talented enough to win and has the coaching to win. But it all starts in preseason. Putting all the players in a position to win is what good coaches do. That is what I'm looking for Thursday night. If we lose the game but play well then I'm fine. Just give me a good showing from the backups and a high energy performance from start to finish.

I want to see results.......points don't matter now.

yes it does Rugby. 06 we built a winning attitude through winning. That is why sometimes getting on a roll with wins can be extremely important

I don't think it was about winning but Sean did say in one of those years (15 I think) that the penalties and mental mistakes were bad juju for the season ahead.

I think it very much matters. Especially for the veterans who have had to look slow starts trying to dig out of an 0-4 start. At this point a win of any kind will help moral. Do you play to win to the point of risking injury? Hell no, but they need the taste of losing out of their mouths.

Yeah, and the thing is how you look. I mean we looked like a keystone cops act last preseason. Of course you had the normal "I am smarter than you" poster chastising people for being concerned, but yes how we look absolutely matters.

I want to see players knowing where they are supposed to be and some sort of cohesion. Just don't make stupid mistakes and I'll be happy. Hopefully we will see improvement from game to game throughout the preseason. The last two years it was nothing. Hopefully the players like Crowley who are having a great camp will continue to shine on the field.

I also don't want to see any more dead money.

Absolutely. That is exactly what to am hoping to see.

I'm hoping the assistant coaching changes have helped and our depth players are playing better because of it. Need to notch a win or two in preseason or it's a bad sign. A lot of the players in the game are playing for a spot on the team so there is no excuse not to go hard.
