I think it very much matters. Especially for the veterans who have had to look slow starts trying to dig out of an 0-4 start. At this point a win of any kind will help moral. Do you play to win to the point of risking injury? Hell no, but they need the taste of losing out of their mouths.

Yeah, and the thing is how you look. I mean we looked like a keystone cops act last preseason. Of course you had the normal "I am smarter than you" poster chastising people for being concerned, but yes how we look absolutely matters.

I want to see players knowing where they are supposed to be and some sort of cohesion. Just don't make stupid mistakes and I'll be happy. Hopefully we will see improvement from game to game throughout the preseason. The last two years it was nothing. Hopefully the players like Crowley who are having a great camp will continue to shine on the field.

I also don't want to see any more dead money.
