Why expendable? I'd rather have starter quality backups on the roster and available for three safety sets. There is not an absolute on two starters. I want four starting quality safeties if we can get them on the roster.

No need to wish Vaccaro gone. He's arguably the most passionate player on our D, you can see his hunger matches the likes of Brees'. When we lose, he is completely p***ed off.

If we let him go, we'd have proven that we learned nothing from 2013/2014, where we had the #4 ranked D, then we let all our leadership leave in the offseason and fell all the way down to #32.

Look how many leaders and veterans on D we changed between 13/14, I'd rather keep a guy as hungry and tenacious as Vaccaro around for as long as we can.

Vaccaro seems to be following the same parallel that Ingram has had in his career...

He may not have warranted a first round pick, but after five years, he's among the top in his position and is more valuable to us to keep him here with the time and development invested...

Are you saying he's a slow learner... like Ingram? What does that say about both programs each came from?
