Tonight the impact of upgrading the coaching staff was evident:

LBer Coach Mike Nolan, DL Coach Ryan Nielsen, and ST Coordinator Brad Banta have really made a mark early on this team...

Muhammad is making the most of his reps. He has a good shot to make this team.

Thomas ... he's damn near kicking the cow hide off the ball. Pinning offenses deep in their own territory will play a huge factor for our D throughout the season.

Everything has to be taken with a wait and see approach, but it is better than we have looked in preseason in a long time and it was enjoyable to watch, but yes there are no game plans, some stars are missing etc, but it was still nice and encouraging.

Have to agree considering we got more from all three of those portions of our team

Special teams was really encouraging.
