Does anyone think I'm insane when I say.... CUT LASCO....

The definition of a locomotive is a self-propelled, vehicular engine, powered by steam, a diesel, or electricity, for pulling or, sometimes, pushing a train or individual railroad cars. The Saints may have found one on sale.

This is the only quote that Who Dat Nation needs to read. It’s from from Victor’s former coach Rob Ambrose from Towson University.

I’ll probably never have to do this again the rest of my coaching career, but I had to take him out of short-yardage drills because he would hurt our own players.”

Is there really anything more to say? Darius Victor was plucked from the plethora of undrafted rookie free agents after the 2017 NFL Draft. This goldmine could be exactly what the doctor ordered for the New Orleans Saints.

It’s not so much what Victor can do, it’s the spark he can bring every time he gets the ball. Victor runs like he’s on fire. Trust me, as my eyes grew larger and larger in camp Saturday afternoon. The fans saw it too. By the same token, the media was salivating over his efforts as well. Victor is not your usual suspect standing at 5-foot-7 and 225 lbs.

You right. I think you 🥜. Victor over Lasco, maybe depending on Coleman and Banjo being our new gunners on ST.

Victor is a exceptional runner but how many snaps or touches will he get behind AP, MI and AK? One rookie and FA is enough a risk on Drew Bree's, block assignments are crucial in the evaluation process. I will like for him to make the roster over Lasco depending that it don't hurt ST

I love Ingram but I would definitely entertain a trade. We are so deep at RB and always seem to find one out of nowhere when we need them. Thomas, Ivory, Robinson, Bell, etc. we've hit pretty well in that area.

Contributions on special teams Thursday night could help Saints' bubble players secure roster spot | NOLA.com

This ^^^ is why I see them keeping Lasco. He has excelled here.

Re: Lasco or Victor

If we're talking about running ability, Lasco is... Not good. I thought that about him last year, too. But, he's a special teams ace, and I don't think there's room for Victor unless he is better than Lasco on special teams. I haven't noticed anything from Victor, at all, on ST, so I think he's practice squad bound.
