In my opinion, Al Quadin Muhammad has to make the final 53, not the practice squad. He led the NFL preseason in sacks, that's not something teams ignore and he will get snatched from us if we try to stash him on the practice squad.
At this point, I think he's atleast the same or better than Kasim Edibali was for us, he produced roughly 4 sacks a season playing spot duty, I think Muhammad plays his kind of role but does it better. |

At the Weakside DE, I'd project to keep three Okafor, Kikaha, and Muhammad. I'd keep three because neither Okafor nor Kikaha has a great health record and are unlikely to play 16 games... Okafor has more size than Kikaha, more experience than Al, so I'd expect him to start and be better against the run... Kikaha has a relentless motor as a pass rusher (probably should be playing for a 3-4 scheme team0, but will be a great change of pace... That leaves Al and Gwachum... Al's speed-spin move is already nearly impossible to block, is the best move by any of the DE on that side of the line and just needs to add more moves to move up as the starter... Gwachum also has been able to stay healthy probably because he's carrying more weight than the former WR body is really built... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Sort of surprised to see the T.J. Ward cut.
The Broncos are currently under their cap & his salary isn't ridiculous. I'll just conclude Elway and his brain trust know what they are doing. |

Re: Roster Cutdown Mega-Thread
I'd get this guy to our practice squad; can be near home; can learn from one of the best in AGlenn; and there's every opportunity to jump into the competition...

Re: Roster Cutdown Mega-Thread
Hard to second guess what Elway's done over there. I guess they weren't comfortable with his hamstring issues.

Re: Roster Cutdown Mega-Thread
If Lasco makes the team I will be surprised. Beyond having the ST aspect I just don't see the point in keeping him around anymore
