I thought that the Saints were showing signs of getting things back on track in the pre-season but it looks like we are going to have to dig deep to get the win against the Panthers.
The media were saying that we were going to strike fear into opposing defences with Peterson, Ingram and Kamara putting in big running performances, once the regular season kicked in but that hasn't happened yet. Brees is not looking his usual self either, plus the dropped passes by the receivers etc. The defence is, well, what the defence is. Still lots of work to do there. The Falcons were supposed to go into meltdown mode after their heartbreaking loss in the Super Bowl but they are 2-0 and we are 0-2! They obviously didn't read the script. Oh well, its never easy being a Saints fan, but its also never dull I guess! Geaux Saints.

We don't have to play the Patriots again till at least February. By then we should be ready.

I hate to say it but compared to game 1 we did not look as lost in the secondary. Plenty room for improvement but I was not throw up every other play. Baby steps
off to the negative thread
