Re: Ok..On to The Panthers
Totally agree. I NEVER miss watching a game. Never have when it was even remotely possible. I don't give a crap what our record is, what others think about MY team or what ever else is going on. I am watching MY Saints.

It is my entertainment.

I'm not talking about quitting as a fan (though I will stop watching them if they join in on this protesting crap). But there are times when games get in the way of other things, and you have to push things to the side to watch the game. I feel less and less inclined to do that. I want the Saints to win badly, but whether they win or lose, they don't help me with anything. The season ends, and it's like it never happened, until the next season comes along. Also losing feels a lot worse than winning feels good, in my experience. Though I subject myself to it anyway, I'm not afraid to walk away if I can see it's just making me too aggravated. It has nothing to do with not caring about the team, and everything to do with self-restraint. Some of us are a lot more competitive, and we don't find joy in watching a team lose, and so our tempers flare up. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
