Scouts believe Vander Esch is the player people are sleeping on at the linebacker position, as many have compared him to former NFL star Brian Urlacher -- another Mountain West product. I really did not expect him to come out. Can not wait to see his 40, shuttle and cone. they list him as a 4.79 guy. I swear he does not play at that speed. Seems faster or just really quick reacting with excellent instincts. maybe both

This is exactly why I say Saints scouts have got to do more than weight everything at the combine; extremely important the combine is, but how FAST they play most important...

But you nailed the right question - How fast does the guy play?
