Shhh ...

Last time Jeff Ireland picked up a stud from a small town college program it was DeMarcus Ware . And yes, Siran's name was called a few times in the upset win vs LSU in Baton Rouge last season.

His scouting report states he can play in the nickel, corner & near the LOS. Sounds like a younger, cheaper KVacarro to me .

Decisions, decisions.

Well, Siran Neal is officially outta the bag at the Senior Bowl - another highlight and some spotlight was thrown his way...

Now, I'm thinking he's gone no later than the late third, early fourth round...

What’s your guys take on UCF LB Shaquem Griffin? I don’t think I’ve seen him talked about here. His athleticism, instincts and intensity are elite. If not for only having one hand he would be right up there with Roquan Smith as a top LB in this draft.

He’s really only suited to be a weak side LB due to his size and some difficulty getting off blocks but would you take a flier on him in the later rounds?

Agreed.

From the highlights I've seen ... he does a more with less (one hand) than a most do with two hands. Acceleration & has second gear giddy up. XM NFL radio analyst (I think it was Kirwin) seem to believe that Griffin will transition to the safety position at the next level. He is by no means just a "feel good story" ... he is a baller & has unique skills.

Would I take a flyer on him in the later rounds? Absolutely.
