most excellent kool. i think that should be in some kinda must-read section. these wreckless rambles about stats just to stir the pot becomes tiring. thanks for encoraging more dialogue over the he did this in 2003 or they went to the superbowl with this statistic tirades.

Man, it amazes me what \"some fans\" think.

Billy doesn\'t want to focus on the defense, which is clearly the problem with this team. Think that the Saints are going to get anywhere with the 32nd ranked D?

Instead, he focuses on the offense.

Billy thinks that if the Saints just get rid of Deuce then all their problems will be solved. Why do you hate Deuce Billy?

2004 - Corey Dillon - 12 TDs - Super Bowl
2004 - Brian Westbrook - 3TDs - Super Bowl
2003 - Antowain Smith - 3TDs - Super Bowl
2003 - Stephen Davis - 8TDs - Super Bowl
2002 - Charlie Garner - 7TDs - Super Bowl
2002 - Tampa Bay - NO ONE in the TOP 30!! - Super Bowl

2002 - Deuce McAllister - 13TDs - that didn\'t seem to do it, did it?

Boy, myopia can be fun.

But sure Billy, keep on bashing Deuce and telling us all why he is the one single problem with the entire Saints team.

Stats are relative because they are affected by things that happen in a game. That\'s why players in a big play offense will have more TD\'s on a per touch basis than a player in a ball control offense, or why a kicker is genrally more accurate in a dome. Or how about Tebucky being the leading tackler due to mass opportunities since nobody else could make one. This is why stats are open to interpretation.

p.s. sorry I brought up kickers

Why doesn\'t Deuce score more TDs? It seems for all the yards he gains, Deuce just doesn\'t help this offense when it comes to scoring. And that\'s a pretty important STAT !!
Maybe because Brooks usually fumbles the goal line snap.
Usually..or once or twice?

Deuce is the $%#@#$ man!!!! Not only is he one of the most productive guys on the team, but the main reason anyone cuts on the game on Sundays.....I\'m starting to lean towards WHODAT a little bit. Brooks ain\'t cuttin it.....put Kitna behind Bentley and we might have a top 5 running game..(see San Diego game)
Brooks has all the tools of a pro-bowl QB but the mind of a junior hi-kid.....I rode the Brooks train long enough....
(I see a light at the end of a VERY long tunnel)

.. doesn\'t he actually have to be handed the ball within at least 10 yards of the goal line?
..or is the expectation that Dulymus is going to score from 30 yards out every time?

Oh, yeah...one more thing. Why are we even having a discussion about wether or not Deuce is a good back? Deuce is a very good back. Who would argue that?

Wait guys, Gumbo is building up to something. He\'s gonna come out and say how this whole post was an elaborate plan to show how AB is at no fault for the offense\'s perfomance this past year. Just wait.

Ab is at some fault, however the majority of the blame has to fall on the O-line!!!! Even though we would have made the playoffs if we didn\'t have the worst D in the league, and one of the 5 worst of all time!!!
