Have to disagree Guido. Our D gave up some major yardage on the ground.

Drew Brees turned the ball over twice.

If Aaron Rodgers had been on the field.....

But he wasn't.

Guido said a win is a win. I disagreed.

We SHOULD win games against rookie quarterbacks in their first NFL appearance. A hard fought win against a team like that is not exactly cause for a "hair on fire" celebration.

Sure, I'm happy for the win. But, did we prove we are playoff material? Nope.

When we start winning against team that SHOULD BEAT US ... I would be more convinced.

If we beat the Rams, the Bills, the Skins and the Falcons .... then we'll talk.

Okay, Debbie, maybe when we win those games you can divorce the Downers, shed the negativity, and we can celebrate when you Do Dallas...

I don't think we need to get ahead of ourselves, but we came back from a pretty awful first half by Drew, and are now first in the division in Week 8 - and that's something to celebrate today...

-Props to Kelemete. He gets thrown out there at any and every OL position and competes. The Saints are lucky to have him.
-When the defense competes, the Saints have a chance.
-The run D is not a strength.
-Lattimore for defensive rookie of the year.
-Vaccaro has stepped up weathering bad play and trade rumors.
- Hand the dang ball off. Ingram/Kamara are the best 1-2 punch going.
-Ginn plays better and better.
-Good coaching.
-Go Patriots.

Have to disagree.

It was a good win because;

Not all teams play error free games if any, today Drew’s 2 interceptions were nullified by the excellent situational play by the defense. ZERO POINTS off the 2 turnovers.

The Saints run game with Ingram an Kamara controlled, I repeat controlled time of possession play count and the clock and allowed the passing game to open up.

Bree’s/Team was clutch on 3rd downs in the second half.

The defense play was not perfect but they held GB to under 300 yards.

On the road ... In Green Bay ... Wet slippery field ... I’m with Guido ... Be Happy I be real Happy !!:bng:

We gave up 180 ish yards rushing.

We only gave up 40ish in the 2nd half.

We are well coached, and it showed today.

It was an AMAZING win from that perspective.
