I get that people here want to celebrate the win. That's what we are here for -- to enjoy our team.

It's just that while the win certainly improved my Sunday ( a lot ) -- that wasn't all I saw and felt after the game.

But, I expect both sides of the ball to improve. And, I don't remember any injuries either, sooo.... hope springs eternal for a WHODAT. :bng:

Obviously you didn't read the article that was posted yesterday about the adjustments the Saints made at halftime to stop their run game. Since you probably won't go find it I'll sum it up briefly. Packers were using a strange blocking scheme that caught our D line off guard. At halftime they switched up some people's assignments and clamped down on it. Jones disnt get as many carries because suddenly it wasn't so successful anymore.

In the past we could have found a thousand ways to lose this game. We didn't.

To me, this is where the true corner was turned

Yes sir. Last year I'm not sure this team would be able to overcome two turnovers & still be able to win on the road.

I know I am not a fan of Crawley!!!

I been noticing him and he avoids tackling than any body I ever seen.

He goes for a strip and never tries to tackle. Vs GB he sticks a shoulder and elbow out at the goal line and goes by the guy. The other DB near him gives a look like WTF? As the packer crosses the goal line.

I saw Kenny give him the WTF look as that happened.

Got to think that is brought up in meetings now, he made a bad tackle attempt vs Golden Tate last week that resulted in a long TD and then that play yesterday.

Dam1953,

Agree completely & you bring up a interesting point. The Saints had 75 offensive plays yesterday that basically wore down the GB defense. I would love to ground and pound again on Sunday, leaving the Bears D gutless by the 3rd quarter. Sean Payton was a Chess master on yesterday. His offensive play calling took their LB's (notably Clay Matthews) off the field on 3rd downs by manipulating the defense. X factor here was ALVIN KAMARA. He can beat you in so many ways (Joker role). Smooth.

I just don't see enough weapons on offense for Da Bears to keep up.

Once again a double teaming run stuffing DT was shown to be a huge need up front and keeping the LB clean.

2018 FA - My #1 2018 FA - Mr Big Big Bang for the Bucks
DaQuan Jones DT/DE Titians 6036 322 5.35 #90 R4 2014 - $3/4 M

They return home for a pair of winnable games against the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bears front 7 which is turning into one of the best front 7 in the NFL Bears defense will be a solid test for the OL. Akiem Hicks will want to get a hit on Drew

Audition time for a 2018 FA
Kyle Fuller CB Bears 5116 190 4.40 1st Round 2014 - $8/12 M
Christian Jones OLB/ILB 6031 249 4.68 CHI $1/2 M

Get a win against the Bears then lets talk about the biggest game of the season, Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

First thing first - the Bears
