I think that's what he was referring to. Which I also took exception to. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the NFL adopt the targeting rule? Which, if I'm not mistaken, is determined by means of replay..... Sooo you can use replay to determine whether someone gets ejected sometimes, but sometimes you can't? Wtf? Not to mention, what he did was the dictionary definition of targeting.

I don't think the hit was deemed targeting by the ref but unsportsmanlike conduct and then they can't review and change that, just decide if it is or isn't a certain infraction.

I do believe that this incident could be one that changes things so that a player committing an offence can be ejected if it shows up on a review.

That was my point. You have ex-officials sitting in the booth or in NY who saw it. Simply call down and look at.
Simple, logical rule change
