this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Hey Stall, don\'t forget what Peyton and the Colts did to us on a Sunday nightgame last year. Hopefully we won\'t have 6 defensive starters out this time. But it won\'t matter. We suck and don\'t deserve a MNF, ever. ...

Wow The Saints on a MON Nighter!
But it won\'t matter. We suck and don\'t deserve a MNF, ever. We\'ll probably get blown out by sixty points, and get totally embarrased beyond belief. Thirty-five years, 1 playoff win? Can someone tell me why we got a MNF game? Every fan in the nation will be calling for Tags to move this pathetic franchise to Los Angeles. Can anyone name one player on this mickey mouse club that deserves the national spotlight? Horn? Yeah right. OVER-RATED self-centered egocentric stat padder. Fat McAllister? Sheez, he\'ll be out with some pulled muscle AGAIN due to his lack of conditioning committment. Of course everyone will be making excuses for him. I for one hope its a clash between two teams eliminated from any hope of playoff contention. That way the NFL will be forced to submit some kind of alternative to having to watch the laughing stocks of the NFL at a time when real teams with real fans are posturing for playoff positioning. |

I just wanna fit in with the locals. This pessimism thing is pretty easy, just kinda feels like being a whinny loser though. |

Wow The Saints on a MON Nighter!
I\'m not concerned about the Saints imploding on MNF. Looking at the schedule, I can see a playoff run.
All we need are a couple LBs,.. a DT.. AB, the Wrs, and TEs to show some consistency..... the OC to call decent game plans... and a new DC. |

Too bad it\'s gonna be in the Georgia Dome, it\'s not often we get an appearance on MNF.
Since we\'re talking the schedule, though, did anyone else feel that New Orleans fans are getting a bit shafted on the better games? The Saints travel to: Minnesota Green Bay St. Louis New England N.Y. Jets The home opponents are: N.Y. Giants Buffalo Miami Chicago Detroit Looks like the NFL officials weren\'t too worried about having a quality opponent play in the Big Easy this season. Of course, if you wanna see any of these games you\'d better get those season tickets ... they ain\'t gonna put any of these duds on national TV. |

Wow The Saints on a MON Nighter!
You know I was just watching the last monday night game the Saints played against the Rams IN 2001. I think the only reason Saints made monday night is because they technically in a way made the playoffs. If there where only two 8-8 and Rams where one of them the Saints would of went to the playoffs. I still don\'t see how the Rams went to the playoffs though when we owned that tie breaker. I guess they won more confrence games. Basically if you make the playoffs you get a monday night game.
