Luis Castillo used steroids
First Round | Second Round
San Francisco Aaron Rodgers, QB, Cal
--If they can get a contract worked out, he should be the top pick.
Miami Ronnie Brown, RB, Auburn
--They need a back to make their offense work, and Brown is the best available.
Cleveland Alex Smith, QB, Utah
--With no defender worthy of the pick, the Browns take the efficient signal caller from Utah.
Chicago Braylon Edwards, WR, Michigan
--Even with the signing of Muhammad, the Bears need help at receiver.
. Tampa Bay Mike Williams, WR, USC
--The Tampa high school product returns home.
Tennessee Alex Barron, OT, Florida ST.
--The Titans would like to move down, but they take the athletic tackle to try and squeeze a few more years out of McNair.
Minnesota(Oak) Cedric Benson, RB, Texas
--With the receivers gone, they take the best offensive player left on the board. Benson gives them a workhorse back to open up room in the passing game for the Moss-less receiving corp.
. Arizona Antrel Rolle, CB, Miami
--The Cards are in serious need of corner help, and they have their pick of them all.
Washington Troy Williamson, WR, South Carolina
--Maybe a bit of a reach, but the Skins need help on offense, and Williamson is the best receiving threat left.
Detroit Derrick Johnson, LB, Texas
--Simply the BPA at this point. Bailey and Johnson make for one athletic outside duo.
Dallas Shawne Merriman, OLB, Maryland
--Parcells needs the combo end/linebacker to run his D the way he wants, and he gets the athletic tweener from Maryland.
San Diego(NYG) Mark Clayton, WR, Oklahoma
--With an early run on WR\'s, the Chargers get their hands on one before the dropoff starts.
Houston David Pollack, LB, Georgia
--With Foreman and Sharper moving on, they need help inside at linebacker. Pollack has a lot of Tedy Bruschi in him to make a similar switch.
Carolina Cadillac Williams, RB, Auburn
--The slide ends for Caddy, and he ends up with a very talented Panther team. Davis and Foster are question marks, so they have to address the RB spot.
Kansas City Carlos Rogers, CB, Auburn
--The Chiefs need help on D period, and they take the biggest playmaker available.
New Orleans Luis Castillo, DT, Northwestern
-- Jonathan Sullivan is a bust, and they get their choice of a weak DT crop this year.
Cincinnati Travis Johnson, DT, Florida St.
--Johnson should provide some much needed depth and playmaking ability to the interior line for the Bengals.
Minnesota Thomas Davis, S, Georgia
--The Vikes continue to upgrade their defense this offseason, adding the playmaking safety from Georgia.
St. Louis Khalif Barnes, OT, Washington
--The athletic Barnes should team with Orlando Pace to give Bulger all the time he needs to find an open receiver.
Dallas(Buffalo) Marcus Spears, DL, LSU
--Spears hasn\'t been able to showcase his true ability in pre draft workouts, so he slides a bit. The Cowboys can\'t believe the perfect end for their defense is still on the board.
Jacksonville PacMan Jones, CB, West Virginia
--After signing an end in free agency, they now need to get corner help.
Baltimore Marlin Jackson, CB, Michigan
--Deion Sanders may not have enough left, so they take a corner to learn a few things from Deion before he hangs them up.
Seattle Erasmus James, DE, Wisconsin
--If he didn\'t have the injury concerns, James would be long gone at this point.
Green Bay Chris Spencer, C, Ole Miss
--With some free agent defections on the interior line, the Pack take the best available interior lineman.
Denver Justin Miller, CB, Clemson
--They add another cover man to help upgrade their pathetic deep coverage.
N.Y. Jets Jammal Brown, OT, Oklahoma
--The Jets couldnt be happier that Brown is still on the board.
Atlanta Anttaj Hawthorne, DT, Wisconsin
--They need serious interior line help and Hawthorne is the best pure DT left.
San Diego DeMarcus Ware, OLB, Troy
--After giving him serious consideration at 12, the Bolts are surprised to still see him left on the board.
Indianapolis Mike Patterson, DT, USC
--Perfect fit inside in Dungy\'s defense.
Pittsburgh Heath Miller, TE, Virginia
--With Burress gone, they could use a tall, intermediate threat.
Philadelphia Kevin Burnett, OLB, Tennessee
--The athletic cover man will give them another dimension to their D.
New England Channing Crowder, ILB, Florida
--He\'s got some issues to prove off base, but Crowder is a very talented middle man.
I did like their explanation as to why though. Do not think we would pass on Pac Man if he was there at 16.
