On To Carolina

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; This might be a 'must win' game? We're back in the catbird seat with a win. And I sure want to hurt wittle cammie's feelings in this game. I love to watch him pout......

Re: On To Carolina

Well ...

I watched a bit of the Jets/Panthers game & it appears that they rushed Greg Olsen (good news for Kenny V) back into the starting lineup & the turf monster got Funchess (good news for _ cornerback). Now I'm reading Fig Newton with "thumb" issues. Maybe that explains why his passes were off the mark? Jets lost a very winnable game. Fumbles and BAD special teams = L.

Thomas Davis left the game with either a quad or hamstring. I may have missed it but I didn't see him return.

It's time to capitalize on those wounded Kittens.

There was a segment on one of the shows that went on about how horrible his throws were against the Jets. Lets hope for more of the same.

Re: On To Carolina

If Funchess and Olsen are out it really does not get much better than that scenario for our secondary. I imagine Cam will be doing much running as well if he is injured.

The ONLY reason why he has a respectable QBR Index is because he can throw the ball downfield a country mile and his receivers can make plays on the chucks...

He's never been an accurate passer...

I'm still praying that we have one or both in Crawley/Lattimore back... That would make this game so much easier...

If he's not injured we oughta make it so...

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton on Sunday shrugged off the impact of a thumb injury on his throwing hand and how it impacted his accuracy in a 35-27 victory over the New York Jets.

But coach Ron Rivera reiterated Monday that the injury that landed Newton on the injury report for two days last week could have been a factor in his quarterback completing a season-low 39.3 percent of his passes.

“That’s possibly why a few of the balls sailed on him," Rivera said of Newton, who completed 11 of 28 pass attempts for 168 yards.

Rivera said the thumb is getting better, and he didn’t express concern it would be a factor heading into Sunday’s showdown at 8-3 New Orleans for first place in the NFC South.

Kittens injury update ...

Panthers injury updates: Greg Olsen’s foot, Cam Newton’s thumb | Panthers Wire

I think they are exaggerating on Olsen's status. The man isn't healthy and it showed last week.
KennyV needs to capitalize.

Re: On To Carolina

Scam is trash and always has been. His best play has been trying to out run the defensive line only to be tackled by the safeties after a 6 yard gain. Man I hope he retires a panther.
