Kamara is a special player and would like to see him stay that way.
The thing that worries me is when he dives over players. In the Carolina
game he came down and landed on his neck. When you go airborne
too much in the NFL, odds are you are more susceptible to serious injury.

Which rookie had a better year? Reggie caught 90 passes his rookie year, an NFL rookie RB record he still holds. Not many TDs though. Kmara runs up the middle. He runs through tackles but he doesnt juke guys or lower his head. I can think of no former RB he reminds me of. Marshal Faulk, Reggie, Eric Metcalf are similar in result but not in style. Maybe a little like James Brooks from Cinncinatti. Hes definetely the next great Saints back. I watched Dalton, Ricky, Deuce and Reggie to name my favorites. Kmara started the game vs Carolina, one of the best defenses with possibly the best LBs in the league. Pregame all they talked about was stopping Kmara. They failed. Recently his dominance has reminded me of stretches Jimmy Graham had in his prime. Kmara looks like one of the best weapons in the NFL. Leveon Bell might be better I guess. Wait until he refines his route running and we can throw him some deep balls. I wanna see him get 20 carries one day. Either way he basically never leaves the field. Glad we have him.

He is indeed slower than Bush but that is it. Kamara is bigger, matter of fact the kid is 215 while Bush was 205. Running routes is yet to be determine but his hands are just as great if not better at catching. The only reason he is not catching 90 balls like Bush is that he is a far better runner than Bush. Bush didn't attack the hole up the middle, he always wanted to bounce out and out run you. Kamara attack holes, tremendous balance, deceptive speed, very elusive and deceptive power. As for deep balls, I seen a couple of those he caught but it can be clearly forgotten after all the highlights he do every week. If I was to compare him to anyone it would be Walter Payton & Marshal Faulk but he very unique because of that balance he have like Sproles. I don't believe we seen everything he has to offer

He is good but I doubt he will ever be great unless there is another back for him to share the load with. He also plays like an injury waiting to happen.

Balance. I've never seen anyone with balance like that. It is extrodinary to watch.

And the OL opens holes that both backs find extremely easy. :D

Kamara also has a knack of shedding tackles. Could be that his speed is deceptive and tacklers take bad angles. Whatever it is, teams are having a really hard time wrapping him up. Carolina looked particularly bad.

Absolutely agree. It looks clear to me that Mark Ingram has learned some patience and vision from Kamara, which has made him a better runner now.

I'm bursting with excitement watching these two!!! And let's not forget to give some credit to the big uglies in the trench!

That goal line hit where he was smacked, recovered, and powered into the endzone was due to balance. PT kind of balance. Maybe the most impressive play he's made to date.

He is unique. If he can stay healthy (which is sure as hell is no given) he will have a HOF career (stay on the ground dude!). I've been racking my brain thinking of a HOF'er to compare him to. He doesn't have the raw speed and athleticism of Reggie type RB (not saying Reggae Bush is HoF material, to be clear), he doesn't have the crazy legs style like a Sanders, Dickerson, or Walter Payton. He's not big strong brute like Campbell or Peterson either. The closest I can think of is Marshall Faulk. Maybe not quite as fast, and maybe a little stronger.
On that first TD of the Kitties game the LB HAD him. Squared him. Denied him. Yet he still managed to score. Wow.

He finds holes like a little guy but blows through arm tackles like a big guy. Like Homer said, his balance is amazing.
