And who do you want to play QB and call plays to get those 3 wins?

Target on Kamara was on PURPOSE. Last drive finger in eye of MT on PURPOSE. DIRTY FREAKIN' DIRTY BIRDS. Next game put a fork in Jones. that bird is done.

Plain and simple the dirty birds needed refs, doctors and luck to win this game. They know their no chance in hell they are going to wi the next one

What I learned...

This was one of the worst officiated games I've ever seen.

Our Defense has heart. With the amount of time they were on the field and the injuries piling up they could of folded but they didn't and kept us in the game.

SP had no backup plan on offense once Kamara went down.

TE should be our #1 priority this offseason. Also finding a quick slot receiver to help pick up first downs is a big need because right now it seems our WR's are rarely getting separation.

Last, this is a darn good team. If we can get healthy, we can play with anyone.

Payton has never gotten off the hook from me, but this game wasn’t in him as much. Brees held the ball too long all game and made some poor decisions to boot. Carmichael is still the better play caller.[/QUOTE]

This was a partial quote from B&G and a question for B&G

We learned that we had to hear you say the same thing again.

Sometimes the truth must be shoved down someone's throat to be understood.

Kudos Bossman.

Regardless, the better team lost tonight. It pisses me off because this basically ensures we won’t get a first round bye. Need to get healthy and we’ll easily win the next 3 games.

If you look at the trend of run/pass over the last 4 games, you will see that SP is in SP mode.

Run? Meh, I guess I have to do that occasionally.

Pass?
What do you think Drew?
Helz Yeah Buddy!

Woo Hoo!!!!

We're smarter than everyone else!!!!!!

8-2 becomes 9-7

Pete Carmichael should be calling the offensive plays.

Will not happen though.

The ship that had SP showing humility sailed long ago.

Sorry, but I just can't blame Payton for this one. Yeah he passed the ball at the end but he was doing what was best for his team. He had a beat up team, he had RBs who were not 100 percent and he did what he thought gave the Saints the best chance to win. The team wouldn't have held up in OT. He didn't tell Brees to make such a boneheaded play. Josh Hill is not Jimmy Graham and he should not have thrown into triple coverage. Ingram was wide open and is where he should have thrown the ball. Brees himself said he didn't need to make such a poor decision. The refs penchant for dropping flags didn't help either and I'm not too sure even if the Saints had scored a flag would not have been thrown to negate the play. That is how bad the officiating was. They did a pitiful job callling that game.
