But this crew didnt, they called us for illegal formation and cost us 3 points. However, the refs didn't stop Payton or the offense much, Brees and Payton squandered a bunch of opportunities to put this game away. |

Re: Side Judge Phil Mckinnely used to play for the Falcons
No doubt we still should have won, but this officiating crew took points off the board for us and gave the falcons 9 first downs.
Not going to complain any longer, if we get healthy we are the best team in the nfc, but the fact remains this guy could be a huge reason for us losing. After reading into this more it’s even more odd how he was put into the line up at the last minute, he wasn’t supposed to be there, he wasn’t even listed on the crew until his name was edited into the line up after the game... crazy stuff |
The Saints are 0-42 when running the ball less than 15 times in a game.

All this stinks but you just no nothing will happen about it.
We just need to concentrate on our next game and win that. I see the Panthers won today also! GEAUX SAINTS!!! |

Re: Side Judge Phil Mckinnely used to play for the Falcons
We need to impose our will on the Jets.
I'm watching their game vs Broncos right now. The Broncos lost 8 straight games and are blowing the Jets out. Josh McCown got hit and held his left wrist, still hasn't returned to the game. Bryce Petty in at QB and looks shaky. They have two good RB's in Forte and Powell, but Petty is missing wide open receivers. We need to shut their running game down and force it into Petty's hands. |

as long a they suck both teams it is ok but Thursday was way too lop sided with ticky-tack fouls against the saints. Atlanta did the same crap all game long.

Re: Side Judge Phil Mckinnely used to play for the Falcons
I know a lot of these guys used to play whether in college or pros. I think it should be known if and what organizations they played for in the past and shouldn't be allowed to officiate games those teams are playing. I don't care if they were the backup water boy. They don't have any business out there. I quit blaming refs for loses years ago. And I certainly don't blame them here because we should have taken care of business ourselves and we didn't but that was the most bizarre game officiating I think I have ever seen. The whole game just didn't seem right as far as the officials were concerned.

He also worked two games that we won earlier in the season (first Panthers game and Bucs game)... So you know, I don’t think there’s much to this other than it just being a bad look.

He was the sideline judge that ruled the Broncos got a legit TD last year.
Wether he is biased or not he shouldn't be doing NFC South games |

Re: Side Judge Phil Mckinnely used to play for the Falcons
Slightly unrelated; Rumour has it that Josh McCown (Jets QB) broke his hand today and the Jets had Bryce Petty at QB for 2 quarters.
Petty was missing a ton of open throws, they have two good RB's, we need to shut thr run game down and make Petty panic. Lets get that W. |
