Re: Saints vs. Panthers: 5 things to know ahead of Sunday's playoff match-up between New Orleans, Carolina
Is it harder to beat a team 3 times in a season or not LOSE to a team three times in a season?

I think its just logical.
Probably 3/4 of the NFL teams are good enough to beat you on any given day, so beating a "decent" NFL team 3 times in the same year is like winning a coin toss 3 times in a row. |

 I agree though. But there are things you can do to tip the odds in your favor. Or you can flip them in the other direction, like with ill-timed otherwise unnecessary fake FGs. :bng: |

For the most part, the NFL is a week to week league.

1. Minnesota: PJ Williams was a starting CB and Lattimore was playing in his first game. 2. Patriots: Same and Anzalone was matched up with Gronk. Talk about a mismatch. 3. Rams: Lattimore and Crawley didn't play at all. 4. Falcons: Brees put a winnable game in jeopardy with a stupid throw in the red zone. The team out on the field this upcoming Sunday is different, and better, than the team we fielded even a month ago. I really think Dude is simply steeling himself for the case that the Saints do not win the SB. Of course each and every team that makes the playoffs wins the SB each season. NOT! I really think more of us here need to be like Buffalo Bills fans: don't worry about the outcome, just enjoy the fact that you get a chance to take the ride. SFIAH |
