True. But all that shows is that the outcome of a single event is different than the total outcome of all the events. Three heads in a row has a 12.5% chance even though each individual toss is a 50% chance.

But that presumes that all things are equal. And when it comes to the Kitties, all things are not equal:

1. The Saints have the better running game.
2. The Saints have the better receivers.
3. The Saints have the better QB in terms of accuracy, game management, and honestly overall common sense.
4. The Saints have the better secondary.
5. The Saints have the better offensive line.

So the first two games were unequal. This one will be too. Add to that the fact that the Dome will be rocking, I fully expect to be marching right into the divisional round.

None of the coin toss math works when there isn't a 50/50 chance on each toss.

Of course we aren't the same team. We are better. EVERY team in the NFL has lost a number of players to the IR list. Some have had more critical hits than the Saints. Both the Vikings and the Eagles have lost their starting QB's. The Vikings also lost their best RB. Carolina has placed FIVE WR's and two TE's on IR this season. The Falcons just lost a starting guard to IR this week.

Green Bay had 15 players on IR that won SB XLV vs the Steelers here in Deathstar a few years ago. Charles Woodson & Donald Driver were cheerleaders most of the second half. Oh, and they were #6 seed.

When the playoffs start on sat, everyone is 0-0 ;). No excuses.

Beating a team three times in a row that is built to beat you is difficult. They also have a stout defense.

It's also difficult to beat a team one time when they are better than you ;).

They are amazing runners, and for all intensive purposes, fill the roles of the 2nd and 3rd WR's as well as the TE. So, let's just hope they both stay upright. :)

With the uncertainty of Armstead on Sunday ...

Addison/Peppers vs Peat/Ramz. Important match up for me.

Really concerned about Olsen just like I was about Theilen. I see them relying heavily on Olsen. Funchess can be locked down, Mctaffy can't run inside so he's very one dimensional on the outside. Cam can run but when that happens his passing gets more off target. Probably see some big runs from him early on then meltdowns when his throws get picked later on. That's how I see it going down.
