Re: What we learned after the Saints' playoff win against the Panthers
I learned
Offense: Brees still has the ability to win games on his own. Thomas is an absolute stud. Payton was smart knowing they would take away the RBs and planned for it. Defense: Went back to zone coverages and got destroyed due to missed assignments and confusion. Defensive injuries are starting to play a bigger role. We have no pass rushers aside from Jordan. Bush shouldn’t be playing. Bell is not a starter at SS, and if Vaccaro leaves it’ll be a problem. Our LBs are some of the slowest in the game and massive liabilities in coverage. |
The Saints are 0-42 when running the ball less than 15 times in a game.

I'm glad we held on to win or I would have had some harsh words about Mr.Payton.

We learned that with the game on the line we went with balls over brains. No time-outs, inside of 2 minutes, and we gift them 30 yards.

Kind of pathetic NY had to stop play and tell those fools (refs) there was a 10 second run off that needed to be enforced on that intentional grounding by Fig Newton.
That would have been a huge miss. |

Re: What we learned after the Saints' playoff win against the Panthers
The best Saints team since 2011 will be denied realizing their potential because SP is a hard headed attention seeking dill hole.
See the first third down play and the last fourth down play. He cares more for his shine than he does the team's success. |
