When the playoff picture was coming into focus many football analysts were saying that the Saint's were the most dangerous team in the playoffs. I think that Brees was main reason they were taking that position. For the past several years the Saints barely missed the playoffs on his shoulders alone. No defense, zero, and an anemic/schizophrenic running game and the Saints were a nominal 500 team.
Now the D is solid (but struggling a bit with injuries) and the running game is crazy dangerous (but also struggling a bit with O line injuries). It's hard to bet against Drew. |
