Saints' ongoing search for a Drew Brees heir begins in earnest this week at Senior Bowl

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Will they really be stupid enough to trade up to draft him? All I have to say is I now see what SP is all about and when Brees is done, I think that's it for me. I am not ...

All I have to say is I now see what SP is all about and when Brees is done, I think that's it for me. I am not rooting for the image SP is enforcing. Brees is too nice and pure for the saints to be the villain team SP wants.

Browns is going to take Baker Mayfield so another QB will go there and have his career ruined.

QB is such a hit or miss position with limited options, and in my opinion, Mayfield wont be elite in the NFL. Especially if he goes to Cleveland.

definitely not first overall - they'll go with Darnold or Rosen first
add Jackson to the mix and Mayfield might last until #20

Rudolph is intriguing and might be available

Mayfield? He's a top 5 LOL! Not going to happen. So we give up 4-5 picks for a QB? When has that ever worked out? Maybe like 1% of the time. Pray we do not go full "Browns Mode".

Beast,

Initially I agree with you 100%, then I put on my GM hat & looked at his off the field "issues" ... disorderly conduct, public intoxication, resisting arrest & the crotch grab incident that prompted his HC to strip his Captainship (I know it's not a word) in his final home game. To become the face of a franchise, those become valid concerns to a owner.

Feelings of those incidents will vary from GM to GM & it may potentially scare many away ... even dropping him to the lower half of the 1st round.

He's a gamer no doubt and I'm excited to see where he lands come April.

In fairness Johnny like waiving his money sign around... Baker likes waving his c**k around, LMAO.

I do find it a bit different though???

I view Baker as the complete opposite of Johnny. Sure he's "cocky" because he's had to scratch and claw for just about everything. Baker has done quite well to say he was a "walk on" to a couple of programs. Dude is super competitive. No one ever seen Brady have a "fit" on the sideline before?

Good luck to Baker wherever he lands in the NFL draft.
