Re: Saints position outlook: While New Orleans' secondary is strong, it could get even better
Why?
Kenny will make one or two tackles at the line while in the box, most will spin it as a "good game". Then many will forget the 3-4 passes he gives up or the pass int in the same game. PFF rates him as CB because he plays so much slot & ranked as low as #116th. He's been a bad safety in zone. As you state, you would like him to play LB/SS hybrid and this has been his only area that he excels (close to the line). Do you think the Saints will really want to pay TOP DOLLAR to do just that? IMO, that money should be spent else where. |

I remember when people was ready to give up on Crawley after his rookie year. Why give up on P.J.after his 1st full season? I truly believe his skill levels are the same as Malcolm but with more recovery speed.
Breaux, can you actually blame him for being injured? Remember Oschner doctors couldn't even diagnose a broken leg. To reach in the piggy bank for Malcolm will be a huge mistake, if anything go after Eric Reid or Navorro Bowman |

Maybe Justin Hardee step up. Paying Malcolm big money will most definitely limit those two opportunity getting on the field. Remember, after a exceptional OTA, Crawley opportunities only came after Breaux injury, Harris ineffective, Moore being cut, and 2 horrific loses.

We need a slot corner. KV is not the answer there. He is limited in what he can do and I don't want to pay him starter money when his value is less than that to me.
