Just in case anyone is interested, Johnny has been traded from Hamilton to Montreal in the CFL. Sounds like he may get some playing time now.

Manziel has two years in the CFL to prove himself. If he is worth a spot on an NFL roster, it will come. No point in talking much about this right now.

It looks like he'll be starting. The Alouettes are 1-4 and have only cracked 20 point once in a 23-17 win over the Roughriders. They need a change at QB big time with the three that have seen time sucked out loud.

I don't evenm think some of you guys are listening to yourselves. Look he does well in the CFL. He is obviously staying clean and out of trouble. Then its only a matter of time before an NFL signs him. Said team will obviously have done their homework and thee is a lot on him.

Now do the math here... which teams would be likely canidates to sign him first and foremost. Teams that have taken chances on prospective QB's. Patriots? Saints? I wouldn't be to surprised Dallas or Texans make a run at him.

Yes I see us as a very likely landing sport for him and why not. We gamble on players we even gambled on Brees from that injury.

He is getting a lot of press up here! The CFL doesn't have a lot of "name" players, so this is very good for the league. I'm not a Manziel fan, but I hope he does well!

In all fairness the Alouettes have a lot of holes in their game. Johnny
Canada has his work cut out for him. My thought though is the Kids playing and appears to have stopped his slide into darkness.
