Re: AJ McCarron ... should we?

I don't have a problem with Chase like many do here. But AJ would be an interesting prospect behind Brees and possibly an eventual replacement (depending on how he develops and picks up the offense). Wouldn't mind seeing that happen.

But I'm sure he's going to go somewhere that'll give him a shot to start. That's not happening here for a couple more years. Maybe more.

Re: AJ McCarron ... should we?

I think the Saints will draft a QB in April.

Which round though?

I’m a little intrigued by QB Kyle Lauletta (Richmond) as a late rounder/priority free agent. Tremendous accuracy and labeled by some as the ultimate competitor. Terrible arm strength though. I’m not good at evaluating QB’s... Too complex lol.

IF only Daniel hadn't missed that tackle in the Vikings game!!! McCown would have stopped him!!!

My biggest concern with McCarron is that he isn't very good.

Re: AJ McCarron ... should we?

I don't even know why this is even a topic.

- AJ isn't going to sign up to be a back up with plenty of teams needing a starter.
- We will sign Brees you just don't let him walk.

There is no other starting positions out there except Buffalo. He's either going there or sitting behind someone for a couple of years.

The kids not bad. He is above Avg. IMO. Let him learn under SP and behind Drew for two years. Could have a huge impact on the guy. You have to remember, our back up as of now is Hill or possibly a late rd draft pick.
