Re: Bring Jimmy Graham Home!

As much as I like Gesicki, I'd really like to have Taven Bryan on our defensive line - he'd be the second coming of Howie Long...

Imagine 6' 4" of 310lbs of lean goodness jumping into your backfield while you're still dropping back to pass!

Plus his Dad was a Navy Seal, so I'm sure he learned a thing or two on how to hand-fight, engage, disengage...

Dalton Schultz or Ryan Izzo will still be there when we're picking later in the draft in the third, fourth, fifth rounds...

But I might be inclined to take Gesicki over Goedert if Taven Bryan and Leighton Vander Esch are off the board...

Goedert in the 3rd .

There are about 5 other players I'd like to have @ 27 over Gesicki or the likes of LVE.

Re: Bring Jimmy Graham Home!

This is something I wouldn't want to see.

Packers make a quick call on Jimmy Graham – ProFootballTalk

Edit: League source: Jimmy Graham expected to sign with either Saints, in a reunion, or the Packers. Either way, long gone from #Seahawks. Too expensive for SEA.

Re: Bring Jimmy Graham Home!

I'm really torn on this issue. He said some disparaging things after the trade that left a sour taste in my mouth. He couldn't block when he was here but apparently Seattle toughened him up. If we didn't already pay Fleener big money I might warm up to the idea. but we have limited capitol.

On the flip side we only pick twice on the first two days of the draft and would not look at tight end as a need and could shore up some other positions.

Once again, what is this list of disparaging things he supposedly said?

The one single, isolated event that could possibly be interpreted as "disparaging" was a congratulatory tweet to Akiem Hicks on his trade that mentioned "getting out of there" when "there" was a totally mismanaged defense led by Rob Ryan, who was fired during the season a few weeks later. That tweet was deleted shortly after it was posted.

There was never any other "disparaging things" said that should have left a sour taste in anyone's mouth. Seriously, what other "disparaging things" do you believe you have heard?

I’m sold. Bring him back. As I said last month his red zone statistics are enough to pay him

Re: Bring Jimmy Graham Home!

I'm fine bringing him back so long as he doesn't try to use the NFLPA as his agent again.
