We have McPherson... and just because you watch Kiper go all over LeFors... let\'s just all jump on the bandwagon. We have a qb and we got him in the 5th round... can\'t you be happy with that? You can even take a look at my bookie book and you would Have a good day. [Edited on 24/4/2005 by papz] [Edited on 25/4/2005 by JOESAM2002] |

Whoa, serious name calling in that one papz, although lsuforever was a little overzealous in his questioning of you. A more polite way of saying what I think he was trying to get at is you seem to be trying to force this Lyman guy down our throats. Don\'t we already have Joe, Donte, Devery, Lewis, and Gardner? What can this Lyman guy really contribute? Special teams maybe? There were better players available, and this guy is also injury prone apparently. If you like him, that\'s cool, but some will not be sold on him until he shows he was more than a wasted 4th rounder.

Look, I live in Northern California and I\'ve probably seen as many Cal games as you\'ve seen LSU. I\'m a Stanford fan so I don\'t much care for the Golden Bears but I\'ll tell ya, I\'ve seen enough of Lymon to know if he stays healthy he\'s can be a major presence. Writers around the Bay Area thought Cal\'s season was virtually over when he went down. Lefors is six foot even. He\'s short and the Saints drafted McPherson so your argument about QB is moot. Chase Lymon is Talman Gardner\'s replacement. And I think he\'ll be a damn good one at that. |

Yea I am being a little harsh. I shouldn\'t stoop down to that level but the damage has been done. I\'ll go censor it... if ya really the other post about him... I did agree it was a reach for him in the 4th. Belittling my football knowledge is an insult to me especially coming from someone who does not watch college football games. I\'m could careless if most of you guys don\'t like Lyman period, it was more towards the last comment that was made.
Okay papz, no personal attacks.... you know better. :rauch06: \"Writers around the Bay Area thought Cal\'s season was virtually over when he went down.\" Exactly blake... 110% it was downhill after Chase went down. Rodgers struggled tremendously without him. [Edited on 24/4/2005 by papz] |

I like the pick. Guys get a rep for being hurt all the time. Sometimes they deserve it and sometimes not. there is a difference between playing hurt and having an injury. when this guy missed games he had an injury.

You\'re right you never know. And I\'ll tell you another thing, I don\'t think I could ask for 3 guys at linebacker with more heart or a better work ethic than Watson, Fincher, and Bockwoldt. It\'s like having 3 Rudy\'s out there with more skill. But the thing is, these guys just shouldn\'t be starting for an NFL team, at least not yet. I would like to see them dominate, it\'s just very unlikely that that\'ll happen. We should have addressed LB more. Period.

P.S. - I really really really really really hope we make some kind of trade after this draft. Howard for an experienced LB or DT.
