Chase Lymon- WR- Cal:
Good wr who is projected to play DT or WLB in the NFL. Scouts believe he can make the transition if he adds 120lbs of muscle to his tall frame. Particularly well perceived by the New Orleans Saints, who currently only have 13 wrs on their roster. Should be a run stuffer for years to come. |

This is a high risk high reward prospect. A bit of a reach here in the 4th round but I like him alot. Me and my friend were actually discussing him yesterday lol and now he\'s a Saint. This guy has tremendous size and is an absolute burner. He was Aaron Rodgers favorite target last year before he was injured. Makes sense because you have a horrible red zone offense and this guy can go up there and get it. The injuries is a MASSIVE concern, but like I said... not guts no glory. When healthy, he looks like Drew Bennett out there. Let\'s just hope he can stay healthy for once in his career. We are making some bold moves out there, and oddly I\'m not disappointed.
Don\'t be too quick to dog him... pull out some numbers and film on him when healthy, he was awesome. He also can return kicks. Anyone who watched Cal last year would know what I\'m talking about. [Edited on 24/4/2005 by papz] |
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
All little common sense goes a long way. |

i\'m not dogging the player we picked, just think we could\'ve filled a need. i don\'t see wr as one of our glaring holes right now. we could have picked up the pot head hawthorne, who was a projected 2nd rounder, for cheap. or a back up qb.

It\'s not like we need a backup QB or anything. :casstet:

Clearly not a \"need\" pick...cannot understand why we aren\'t picking more on the other side of the ball...but I live in Northern CA and have seen this kid play and he is terrific...when healthy. If we can keep him on the field he will be a special player for the Saints.
Now we better go D with every other pick!!!!! [Edited on 24/4/2005 by Lifer] |
