I didn't think the Cows had any shot on getting Hurns after visit #1. Too bad Jets (he had to cancel due to bad weather).

This signing could spell the end of Dez or maybe they don't have any plans of drafting a WR with their first pick.

This way he holds no resentment to the team because they are paying him what the market set for him...

And team officials now have something to fall back on if he indeed tanks, they at least didn't overpay for him as they have done in other cases...

So, if we sign him to a one year prove it deal then he will cost more next year if he bounces back and plays well. If the Saints only sign him to a two year contract......then #13 and his contract will come due at the same time. That leaves the question.....are we willing to give him a three year deal?:couch:
