We'll know by camp. If he's not in camp, slippage at that point of making any real impact and competition will be fierce.

This jives with what he has said in interviews I have heard with him. There are a few around here (the eternal pessimists) that have said he'll either be on IR by the beginning of the season or at least not be ready by that time. Merideth has stated multiple times that he is already running on grass and is on track to be back (100% at fully ready) at least by the beginning of the season and he personally expects to be back (%100) well before then.

He'll be in camp. He has already said excitedly that he'll be at Brees' off season training sessions in San Diego and he is really looking forward to getting to know his new teammates.

That is encouraging, going to Bree's pre-camp. Sounds like a great re-entry from crawl, stand, run so to speak. If he makes it through camp he should be good to go.

CM's just got to be smart, watch the knee for swelling, get docs involved for flare ups, make sure it's scar tissue releasing and not furthering injury...

While I'm optimistic about his recovery and potential contribution, I'm wondering how Pace could let him out the door at the same time?

So a common sub-package we can expect to see on 3rd downs in the Fall would be Thomas, Ginn at the Wide Out and Flanker with Meredith in the Slot...

and the Tight End kept in for blocking with Kamara out of the backfield - sounds promising...
