Well the Saints weren't committed to paying a guy like Sammy Watkins 14+M (IMO he's over paid based on production) a season

. If Cameron comes back 100% (which I believe he will) then he's worth a lot more than what he was paid. If not, no real biggie. It was a 2 year deal with 1 guaranteed.

Sean Payton and company could give him the tap (cut him) after the 2018 season if he doesn't return to form. Solid move by the Saints. Solid.

We'll know by camp. If he's not in camp, slippage at that point of making any real impact and competition will be fierce.

He'll be in camp. He has already said excitedly that he'll be at Brees' off season training sessions in San Diego and he is really looking forward to getting to know his new teammates.

That is encouraging, going to Bree's pre-camp. Sounds like a great re-entry from crawl, stand, run so to speak. If he makes it through camp he should be good to go.

CM's just got to be smart, watch the knee for swelling, get docs involved for flare ups, make sure it's scar tissue releasing and not furthering injury...

While I'm optimistic about his recovery and potential contribution, I'm wondering how Pace could let him out the door at the same time?

So a common sub-package we can expect to see on 3rd downs in the Fall would be Thomas, Ginn at the Wide Out and Flanker with Meredith in the Slot...

and the Tight End kept in for blocking with Kamara out of the backfield - sounds promising...
