There's been some good ones that made it in the NFL. Bullet Bob, Willie Gault, Cliff Branch.

Trindon Holliday (LSU alum) was a true track guy who for a brief moment or two, was a dangerous punt returner up until the fumbles came... then out of football.

Branch was pretty legit. The other two, not so much

Bullet Bob Hayes is in the HOF, has a Super Bowl Ring, and in the Cowboys Ring of Honor. Gault had a pretty decent career with Da Bears & Raiders.

I'll have to find it in the VHS cache, maybe SI's Crunch Course, one of those old 80s NFL videos has player interviews about Renaldo Nehemiah...

They show the play where the defense set him up for their safety (Bears?) to lay the wood on him straight up - would be called targeting today...

Either way, they hit him so hard he took the pads off and quit after that...

Branch was the truth, even the Steelers defense had to roll coverage to contain him; built like RB Chris Johnson, but was a lot like Brandin Cooks...

Branch opened the field up for Fred Biletnikoff, Dave Casper, later Todd Christensen- because Ken Stabler couldn't hit the side of a barn...
