Not sure what the great Bill Walsh was thinking there but damn Nehemiah was fast. I mean he made Willie Gault look slow :).

Track speed vs Football speed ... totally different. Some coaches are finding that out now.

Prolly right... still, it would be fun to watch in preseason.

Renaldo did not fare long in the Not For Long league.

We can only bring 90 to camp....we have to start making decisions soon. Are try outs this weekend?

"SKEETS" Averaged 17.5 yards per reception during his short career.

Brandon Cooks, Sammy Watkins, TY Hilton, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown averaged less than "Skeets" last season! In fact in all of the NFL only 2 WR averaged more than 17.5 yards.

17.5 yards per catch is 17.5 yards.

Been known for decades. During the 70's, can't remember his name but the fastest man in the world tried to be an NFL WR. Did not work out at all.

Much respect for him. He could have done well as a pro runner. A lot of heart but man...long road for him even getting a look.

Larry Burton? Our 7th Overall pick in 1975?

There's been some good ones that made it in the NFL. Bullet Bob, Willie Gault, Cliff Branch.

Can't remember. He was on the cover of SI back in the day as the fastest man. At some point he decided to give the NFL try.

From what I read, they implemented the 5 yard contact rule to balance out the speed problem. Once they did, much harder being a one trick pony running go routes.
