The night Tom Benson passed away I got an alert on my phone. I told my lady that I was sad about it. She said "I thought you hated him." I said not anymore.
Every since he tried to move to San Antonio and Tagliabue refused to let him then he quit running the team like a used car salesman by getting high draft picks and selling them for a profit. He turned his business model around when he unlocked his check book and decided to build a winner. The fan base forgave him and then loved that sweet old guy who gave us a Lombardi. |
