this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Saints release Coby Fleener – ProFootballTalk I think it's for the best for both. Concussion looked severe to me (repetitive)...

Those 5 concussions last year didn't help but I'm still surprised considering he was recently paid. Oh well, I guess they decided to cut losses (they are on the hook for at least 8M in Dead Money) and move forward. Too bad it didn't work out. Injuries and inconsistencies will get you cut every time.
Side note - the undrafted guy from WKY (name escapes me) has a shot to make the 53 man roster. |
