Mark Ingram Won't Be at OTA's
 

How do you feel about this? Seems to me like if he's missing the first four games of the season, he really needs to get in as much time with his teammates as possible.
He's planning on participating in the mandatory practices though.

OTA's are optional. Ingram has been in this offense his entire Saints career. He'll be there for manditory minicamp and presumably training camp. He was a top 5 back in the league last season.

In short, much ado about nothing.

Suspended for 4 games, skipping OTAs... Not off to a good start for a contract year.

It's bad timing for sure. On the bright side the touches will go to whoever the players are that replace most of his production over the first four games.

Unless it's a trade early in the season, it cannot be done. This is Ingram's final year of his contract. After the trade deadline, he cannot be traded and at the end of the season he'll be a free agent.
