Chase Lyman. What a waste. And when Roydell Williams was mentioned as a better option, there was a playing hometown favorites sentiment. First practice? That is unreal and has to be some kinda record right? Yikes. Also read this: Saints notebook

TOUGH BROWN: Chase Lyman is not the only Saints draft pick with a pre-existing knee condition. First-round draft pick Jammal Brown has a chronic condition in his left knee that needs constant maintenance. Brown missed his freshman season at Oklahoma because of a sprain in the joint. Several teams red-flagged Brown as a prospect because of it. Saints officials are aware of the condition but are confident it will not be a factor. Even with the knee problem, Brown didn't miss a game or practice in his final three seasons at Oklahoma.

I am certainly glad he has played through it the past 3 years at OU, but chronic knee condition is not what I wanna hear for any Saints player(see Grant, Cie).
