Davenport would have been picked in the mid teens regardless with exactly the same talent level he has now. So I see it that the Saints organization has ther responsibility to give Davenport the support and coaching necessary to justify the trade.![]()
We saw exactly the same thing when the Saints jumped back into the first round to draft Ingram. A lot of folks were blaming the player for not having production to match the trade. It's taken some time, but I think we can all agree that Ingram's gotten there. SFIAH |
