I guess you have to ask the question are you going to the Dome to eat or watch the Saints play. Stuff a Po' Boy in your shirt and have a few beers and be done with it. Now the exception was the early days of Saints football, you pretty much went to the stadium to eat and drink your sorrows away. In fact pretty much a lot of drinking.

I can't afford the concession prices at the Superdome. I smuggle in liquor and buy cokes there. Also, I'm eating in the quarter for better food and better cost before and after the game.

Because the company mentioned in my previous post has absolute power and control of all the food in the dome and champion square. If an outside vendor wants to cater a suite, set up a food truck, or open a booth they have to give that company 30% of their gross sales. Giving away 30% of sales In an industry that has an average profit margin of 3-5% does not give you much room to make money. Only outside vendors that can afford that are big corporations like Dominos. That’s why you don’t see more food. That company has been gouging customers for years on some of lowest food cost items in the industry. Why offer better food at a higher cost if you don’t have to. Only way they offer anything better food is if fans stop buying.
