Center LeCharles Bentley, who had been unseen so far at Saints headquarters this offseason, was one of the first to arrive and looked in good shape. CB Mike McKenzie, who had been in and out of the Saints' offseason conditioning program, was also present. Both players are among those looking for new long-term deals from the Saints.

Good to hear. They both will play important roles and need to show some leadership. It also doesnt hurt that they know they will not be talked to about new contracts as long as they are holding out.

DT Johnathan Sullivan showed up in typical Sullivan shape - overweight.
What else can you say about him.

Missing from the start of practice were DT Brian Young and CB Fahkir Brown. While Young's absence was excused as he is getting married, Brown's absence is unexcused at this point. Brown is on the Saints' list for a new long-term contract, but is below McKenzie, Bentley, and RB Deuce McAllister.

I wonder too. I mean it aint like the guy is unreplaceable. F Thomas and J Craft are prob loving it. If he misses much it will be hard for him to start over the other two. (it aint like he's a shutdown corner)
