Saints Trade for Teddy Bridgewater

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm a Bridgewater fan myself and wanted him this past off season. Hell I wanted to draft him. I'm pretty happy. I'm curious to see if we can develop him as Brees' heir. He has a very good skill set....

In my opinion he is sincere starting material. I have no doubt we can

I hope he gets into the last preseason game so that Meredith might actually have a decent backup throwing him the ball.

If Merideth were any good he wouldn’t need “a decent backup”. Carr and other 3rd and 4th string receivers have made the best out of what our backups have had to offer. What’s Meridiths excuse?

He is still feeling his way back after a nasty injury snd learning a whole new playbook. Never easy to trust your body for a while after serious injuries.
