this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Didn't get to watch the game from here in OH, but looking at the play-by-play and highlights it sure looks like our #2s are much better than the Ram's. it sure looks like the Saints have depth in the skill ...

Depth
Didn't get to watch the game from here in OH, but looking at the play-by-play and highlights it sure looks like our #2s are much better than the Ram's. it sure looks like the Saints have depth in the skill positions for a change, especially on D. In the recent past this definitely wasn't the case. When a starter went down we were severely exposed.
Now, but for a few slots, it seems that the when a D sub steps on the field, little, if anything is lost. |

For sure. The energy from last season seems to be still strong. You can see the players are having fun. Our D is gonna surprise everyone but us this year. It's nice to see some depth on that side of the ball. As important as that was to get, the coaches we got over the old regiment, is paying dividends.
