Stupar is not gone. He's just not on the roster currently.

Devaroe gets traded, Klein is a starter, Craig Robertson is a back up, and Nate Stupar gets released to keep who?

They preach it but don’t live it anymore. I remember when Sean had the walnuts to keep who earned their place and send the ones who didn’t packing.

How exactly would that conversation go?
“Hey Nate, we are going to release you but we will bring you back later on. We aren’t going to pay you but do us a solid and don’t sign anywhere else. Let’s shake on it.”
Barry from MS and Mr Magic like this.

I just don't want to see AJ Klein on the field. Period.
I agree, though he didnt look bad when he took over for kuechley when he was hurt but now he gets taken out of the plays so fast and easily its a shame. Davis needs to start at mlb. Im tired of this square peg in a round hole crap, i thought they figured this out by now.

At least by that time the staff will have had four regular season games to assess which players are expendable.

This makes me sad. I really like ole Stupar, hope he can make his way back.

Roster space gets really scarce when you cut to 53. I just hope Taysom will be worth it.

actually, that's exactly how it goes... started with Norman Hand years ago and has happened with the 3rd QB or 6th receiver or 8th or 9th OL or 4th TE every week since

Surprisingly enough, it is probably close to that.

Just got to your reply. I've heard Pat Kirwan, former GM, say just that on NFL Radio more than once over the past few years. Extremely common move.
