I have a sinking feeling Andrus Peat is going on IR. Josh LeRibeus becomes the starting LG, hence adding an extra O-Lineman (Michael Ola).
Edit: Wait, that doesn’t make sense. They could just put Peat on IR and sign Ola without having to waive Boston Scott. I can’t wrap my head around this. |

Seriously, how does Tommy Lee still have a job over a promising rookie? We literally could have not bothered during draft day and we'd be in almost the same position as we are now.

Problem is other teams have seen the pre-season tapes and these guys are going to get swept up. Stupar already got picked up by the G-Men.

I get waiving Natrell Jamerson or Kamrin Moore when we have good depth in the secondary, but now we have two RB’s and one doesn’t know the playbook yet.

SMH.....but JT Gray stays on the roster....I don’t get it...this tells me that they are going to be very pass heavy the first 4 weeks. Trey must be the number 2 back...this is very confusing...

At this point I’m almost expecting some whacky trade for a RB. 2019 draft picks be damned... Apparently our 2018 picks didn’t matter that much.

The New Orleans Saints are going with two running backs for now. The team made a surprising move by waiving rookie running Boston Scott on Wednesday morning, according to a source. New Orleans brought back offensive lineman Michael Ola to replace him. Scott appeared set to serve as the third running back behind Alvin Kamara and Mike Gillislee. He also was expected to be in the mix at kick returner. The rookie averaged more than 4 yards per carry during the preseason and looked like the best pass catcher out of the backfiled this side of Kamara. The Saints would like to sign him to the practice squad if he clears waivers. |

There must be some kind of charges pending....although, Peat is injured. But we could have dropped some body else that we would not miss as much.
