Strief’s take on Rick Leonard
Yesterday I ran into Zach Strief at Port Orleans and after a couple of pictures and talking about his new gig I asked him about his take on Rick Leonard. He said that Leonard was loaded with talent and a physical presence and just needs some work. He stressed that it has only been two years since he moved to the new position. He added that he talked with Leonard on Thursday and told him that making the practice squad was a good thing and would give him the opportunity to develop without the pressure of the regular roster.
I then asked him what was the front office take on Leonard. That embarrassed my wife, but you have to ask the tough questions. Lol. He said they are still high upon his potential and things are going “according to plan”. Reporting from New Orleans this is your B&G correspondent, AsylumGuido. See you at Gleason Gras! ![]() |
